Ramadan 2027 begins on 8 February. Work backwards from that date and a container order needs to be confirmed by the end of October 2026 — the season is closer than the calendar suggests.
The dates for Ramadan 2027
Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin on the evening of 7 February 2027, with the first fast on 8 February, and Eid al-Fitr around 9–10 March 2027. The dates follow the Umm al-Qura calculation and are confirmed by local moon sighting, so a one-day shift is normal in some markets.
That is roughly ten days earlier than Ramadan 2026 (18 February – 19 March). The lunar year is about eleven days shorter than the solar year, which is why the season drifts earlier every year.
Working back from the shelf date
Three numbers decide the calendar: production takes about 40 days from deposit and design confirmation (the lead time we quote), sea freight from China to Europe typically adds 30–40 days, and most buyers want stock on the shelf two to three weeks before the first fast.

If your market is closer to China the transit leg shortens and the whole calendar moves later; if it is further away, move it earlier. Substitute your own sailing time and the same arithmetic works.
If you are later than that
Later orders are still workable — the constraint simply moves from production to transport. Tell us the date you need the goods and we will tell you which quantities and which shipping modes are realistic. Moving a seasonal range by air or rail costs more per cubic metre than sea freight, so it is usually worth doing only for the lines that sell out first.
